Keganasan Rumahtangga
Apakah keganasan rumahtangga?
Keganasan rumahtangga bermaksud perlakuan keganasan terhadap pasangan atau bekas pasangan. Ia terdiri daripada fizikal dan ganguan seksual, keganasan pertuturan (maki hamun dan cacian), ugutan, gangguan/pengabaian emosi dan kewangan.
Keganasan rumahtangga ,kebiasaannya berulang dan menjadi mangsa lebih teruk dan berterusan walaupun selepas penceraian.
Ini adalah disebabkan pendera ingin terus berkuasa dan mahu mengawal mangsa. Kebanyakkan pendera adalah gulungan lelaki dan mangsa adalah wanita atau kanak-kanak.

Apakah kesan kesihatan akibat keganasan rumahtangga?
Berikut adalah beberapa kesan-kesan kesihatan disebabkan keganasan rumahtangga - * Kecederaan pada anggota badan : * Seperti, lebam, luka, patah tulang yang menyebabkan kecacatan kekal dan kematian. * Kesan psikologi / mental : * Wanita yang didera oleh pasangan akan mengalami lebih kemurungan, cemas dan ketakutan dibanding dengan wanita yang tidak didera. Mereka juga lebih cenderung untuk mencederakan diri sendiri atau menbunuh diri * Mangsa juga lebih dikaitkan dengan tabiat merokok, pengambilan alkohol berlebihan dan penyalahgunaan dadah.
