Since many marketing companies have great ways to attract an audience's attention and money, it leads to the marketing to children. One of the highest consumers is children; therefore, marketers attempt to target young children because it encourages them in making parents spend money. Marketing to children is beneficial because it encourages healthy behaviors, positive choices, and bonding experiences.
Marketing can promote positive behavior among children by advocating them to eat healthier. For instance, David Benady implies, “advertising and marketing techniques could encourage children to eat healthy,”(1) meaning marketers have extraordinary ideas to attract them into making them to eat healthy. When marketers advertise they mostly use …show more content…
For example, David Benady indicates “participate in sport,” (2) meaning that children that exercise helps them develop and maintains healthy bones, also it increases muscle mass which is essential to the body’s efficient metabolism. This can also help children have bonding experiences with family and friends. Marketers attempt to add people who inspire children to get up and do something productive. Meaning that social marketing establishes a way to prevent young teens from doing deleterious and risky activities. Companies love to include pathos in their advertisements because it is a great technique to make children feel conscious of how dangerous smoking is. By young teens viewing the effects that smoking can cause them, they start to do what is best for their health. Many youth smokers do not know how deleterious smoking is but when it comes to their health they begin to think about their bodies healthy and make positive choices to change their health behavior.
