I believe that the principle Finish what you started is the most important one because if you can’t finish something it means you don’t have the commitment, devotion, passion, and determination that is necessary to succeed. The reason why this is such an important thing is because when in the line of duty a firefighter/EMT simply cannot stop and give up on the job is given. You can’t just stop, especially when there are lives on the line which make it a principle worth following.

FInishing something that you have started is difficult for a couple of people due to the habits they have. I know this because sometimes I have problems finishing assignments but i try my best by asking for help on whatever is i'm trying to finish. There are ways

...Karen Park Grand Canyon University: TCH-518 November 9, 2014 Stephanie Hirsch, an executive director of the National Staff Development Council once said that, “For teachers, going to school must be as much about learning as it is about teaching. They must have time each day to learn, plan lessons, critique student work, and support improvement as members of learning teams…” (p.98). Throughout the school year, teachers have multiple tasks that are part of their daily work schedule. Among the daily work, lesson plans are essential in creating a successful learning environment for students. This is where the role of an instructional coach can be advantageous. The role of a coach is defined “with a narrower remit than mentoring, and relates to specific areas of performance and job outcomes” (Lord, Atkinson, & Mitchell, 2008). Furthermore, coaches that are in of an assistance to a classroom teacher must be able to identify “individual’s strengths and limitations, degree and elements of motivation, work ethic, beliefs, interests, vision, educational background, formative experiences, and professional goals” (Kise, 2006). Therefore, when a teacher is brainstorming a lesson plan, a coach can be a vital role in building teaching effectiveness. Keeping the Faith

...Sunday Service (October 7, 2012) April Jade Bonoan How to Keep the Faith and Finish and Finish the Race. The Book of Hebrews is known for Its Hall of the Fame – the list is long in chapter 11 of the book of names of people of old who because of their faith made their way into God’s honor roll of the faithful. Reading the entire chapter, it made me wonder how they kept the faith. Today we are going to study the twelfth chapter of Hebrews. First thing we have to do is I. Have a Proper Start How we start determines how we end. Before we run the race, we have to let go of certain things. A lot Christians instead of having a proper start found themselves running yet stopping in the middle of the race. And once they stopped it was so hard to regain the track. Paul encourages his readers to lay aside every weight, and the sin that so easily ensnares. To finish the race is another way of saying that we have kept the faith. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. “ – 2 Timothy 4:7 A. Dead Works - The weight that Paul was referring to here that we should lay aside, is not a sin. These are what we call the dead works. The bible says in 1 Corinthians 10:23 that all things are permissible, but not all things are beneficial. These are things that we could live better without. Just like in a race, the athletes have a choice what kind of clothing they would wear, but if they wanted to win, they must choose the light fabric. There are certain...

Arguementative Paper

...In Chapter 15, the Student Writer suggests that an argumentative is something that you want the reader to believe. The act of arguing your point about oneself is to make the reader believe that what you are trying to convey, is truth. The point that I am arguing is the reason why pursuing my MBA degree is important to me. My goal is important because no one in my family made a decision to go this far with their personal goals. My brother went to college, but he stopped at a BA in Economics, and he is now trying to go to law school to become a lawyer. Which makes the trek of obtaining my Master’s even more important to me. The recognition that I hope to receive when I complete this degree, is important to my personal goal. I want to show my children the importance of diligence and hard work. Diligence to me is the thoroughness that comes with completing your goal from start to finish and receiving that much needed appreciation for the sacrifices that you made while getting there. Pursuing my MBA to me is an accomplishment that I have wanted for quite sometime. One of the first things that I need my MBA for is to start a new career. My second reasoning for wanting my MBA is for the obvious reasons, like stature, better compensation and of course advancement in my future career. Stature in relation to a career is the ability to make lots of money, support my family and to just have enhanced opportunities within my chosen company. How many times as children have we looked up...
