There were many important events in Dorothy’s life. She was named Titanic Survivor. She stayed for a while with her grandparents in England after she got kicked out of school. There they had a servant named Mrs Hawkins and her two children who would come and play with Dorothy named Owen and Mille, the twins. The three little kids would play characters of famous stories or plays for example “The Three Musketeers.” Her grandfather would teach her important lessons in life every day of her visit there, for example, a question could be “How do you know if animals feel pain the way we do, as they can’t talk?” Another important event is the moment she met the people on the Titanic. For example Miss Pugh (the adult responsible for her), Marjorie (first friend), the little french boys, Beryl (her seamstress) and Joe (Beryl’s love). Another was the sinking of the Titanic were Miss Pugh, Joe, Marjorie's dad, the little boy's father, and another 1,500 people died. She was one of the survivors but doesn’t like to talk about those events. The diary she keeps talk about her life before the Titanic ship left, the experience of the Titanic including the sinking, and life once she was on the Carpathia and so on. She was also invited to the movie premiere of “The Titanic” but refused to go and called it weedy. These events reflect who she was during the 1900s. …show more content…
