Since its inception in 1995, Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company has been developing dramatically and becomes a leading manufacturer of foodstuffs in Vietnam. Acecook Vietnam, attained a strong position in the market while providing instant processed products with high quality and nutritional values. 1. “Provide high quality and safe products to best meet the demands of consumers.”

History 1. Instant noodles
From the late XVIII century, European started to produce and consume noodles. And it became traditional food of European countries, especially Italy and France. Then, this product was introduced to Asian. And to avoid time consuming in processing, Asian (first by Japanese) invented a new technique to produce noodles meals called instant noodles. From then instant noodles was developed and innovated in quality and quantity. Production technique was improved as well. 2. Acecook Vietnam
Acecook Vietnam has achieved impressive results throughout its development. Its products are trusted by both local and foreign consumers. For many consecutive years, Acecook Vietnam is appraised as a leading producer of instant food in Vietnam with prestigious awards from government agencies and departments, the media, and consumers. * December 15, 1993: Incorporation of Vifon-Acecook Joint Venture Company with Japanese modern production line. * July 7, 1995: The first production line was put into operation, with the production of high quality noodles and instant noodles products. * 1996: With the advantage of technology and outstanding quality, the Company began to penetrate the U.S. export market. * 2000: Hao Hao noodles - a prestigious trade-mark was put into market. * December 11, 2002: The first Representative Office in Cambodia in order to promote export activities. * 2003: Expanded export market to: Australia, USA, Russia, Europe, South East Asia, Africa, etc.
Another factory was built in Binh Duong Province (increased the quantity of production lines up to 12 units). * February 3, 2004: Acecook Vietnam (100% Japanese investment).
Bac Ninh & Da Nang factory was put into operation (over 2,000 employees) * 2005: The company officially moved its headquarters and built a new factory in Tan Binh Industrial Zone,Ho Chi Minh City. * February 2, 2006: Sixth factory was built in Vinh Long province. * 2007: The instant noodle product, a quintessential traditional food of Vietnam,now appeared in instant form with Japanese technologies. * February 2, 2008: The Company officially changed into Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company. * 2009: The Company continued to make new products: Porridge, Cooking oil, Soup powder, Sauce, etc. * July 7, 2010: Achieved Labour medal of First Ranking. * 2011: Achieved Emulation Flag by the Government for leading organization in Commercial segment. * 2012: * Inaugurated HCMC 2 Factory. * Launched breakthrough products: Enjoy, Mikochi, UdonSưkiSưki.

Product
Instant noodles is the best invention of the 20th century.
The admittedly non-scientific poll by the Fuji Research Institute, a think-tank attached to the generally staid Fuji Bank, asked 2,000 adults in the Tokyo region to rate the greatest inventions of the 20th century in three categories: manufactured goods, culture and technology. Respondents were asked to take into consideration worldwide acceptance of the various customs and inventions. An astounding 692 placed instant noodles, an “invention” from 1958, at the top of the list.
Instant noodles went into commercial production in 1971, and almost 50 billion cups are now consumed each year worldwide.
In Vietnam:
When time becomes precious, people scurrying to the chaos and worries of life and do not have much time for cooking, preparing meals for the family, the appearance of fast food products an essential part of the demands of modern life.

Characteristics of instant noodles products: 1. Product of convenience
Instant noodles is one of the products which was born in demand. Existing in every corner of the world, noodle meals quickly became the most popular fast food thanks to good flavor, cheaper price and less time-consumed process than any other food.
Referring to instant noodles, perhaps most Vietnamese consumers know of noodles Hao Hao by tasty and familiar product. Coming along with millions of Vietnam through generations, Hao Hao instant noodles were present in the daily lives of every home, from the frugal kitchen to hearty meal, from the simple cottage to the modern office buildings, from the remote village to the bustling city. Instant noodles is also the product with stable quality to ensure customers’ health and safety. 2. Product with high sociality
Not simply as food products, instant noodles also play a role, especially with the mission toward society. With the advantages of instance and long-time preserved capability, instant noodles is the food product which has very high sociality: it is regarded as food reserves of many countries, holding the "mission" of food provision. Instant noodles are available at the time of the natural disaster such as earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, is famine-relief food of millions of people, from Japan, Southeast Asia, Africa until Europe Europe, the Americas. In addition, some manufacturers of instant noodles also contributing to the development of infrastructure, construction of future society through community grants program. And Hao Hao has also co-operated with the Cycle Works Consultancy and generated useful playground for your students. 3. The product removing all distances
In addition minimum processing time, inexpensiveness, flavor taste and energy is the characterized strengths of instant noodles. Because of all that convenience, we easily found the meals of instant noodles in any Vietnamese family from urban to rural, from mountains to plains... One of the most loyal customers of instant noodles is students, such fact formed a "culture of instant noodles" within students.
Not only the students but also office workers, civil officers and housewives are familiar to the noodles. Therefore, it can be said that instant noodles has removed the wealth gap, geographical distance and social status. In other words, the noodles are popular globally while sticking to each local culture.

Fieldtrip
Noodles factory tours are held by Acecook Vietnam JSC for the purpose of enabling the students to understand the production process as well as a better understanding of the value of instant noodles - a product which is very popular and associated with student life. Through the program, the company wishes to contribute to improve knowledge, practical experience, professional help shape the future for students.
In addition to supporting human resource, another purpose of Acecook Vietnam for holding fieldtrip is to create interest within students who are great potential customers of the company products.
To capture the tastes, preferences of consumers can be considered as one of the most important tips led to the success of the business strategy. Besides resource of survey data from market research firm in terms of perception, taste and love of consumers for their products, a different approach is applied now and gradually get certain effects. This approach is to celebrate programs for consumers to take the trips to factories to observe, learn about the process of producing the product, discuss the issues that consumers are interested. This is also an opportunity for businesses to listen to honest opinions, comments of customers on products, industry of their domain.

Supply chain 1. The modern manufacturing process
To improve product quality, Acecook Vietnam invests equipment, advanced production lines from Japan, home of the instant noodles. Factory Acecook Vietnam equips a closed production line, uses equipment and modern technology, automation of Japan. The entire input to the finished products are controlled 24/24 as the international standard of hygiene and food safety.
Acecook Vietnam has continuously invested in technology, for research, understanding the needs of different customers to provide the most suitable products. After the sample was born, Acecook Vietnam again to analyze and publish the nutritional criteria for the authorities to consider and approve the product so that it may be put into implementation and to enter the kitchen of the families.
Most of the lines are automated with the assistance of technology, modern equipment. When the noodles is transferred near the end of the line, clear noodles were formed and transferred to the packaging system. In this part, raw materials and finished products will undergo quantitative weighing systems, metal detector systems, X-pray (to detect even small objects 1mg)... The system automatically pushed the unqualified product off the conveyor to gain weight specifications for the perfect products. 2. Factories
Over 20 years of growth and development, at present, Acecook Vietnam operates 10 factories throughout Vietnam. Products of Acecook Vietnam are sold in over 40 countries throughout Asia, Europe, America, Africa and Middle East such as pouch, cup, bowl and tray of instant noodles, instant vermicelli, instant rice noodles, etc.
Most modern factories in Southeast Asia
Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company officially Ho Chi Minh Factory 2 went into operation in 2012. It is considered one of the largest and most modern factories producing instant noodles in Southeast Asia, with an area of 20,000 m2 including 3 production line with advanced equipment, designed and built by leading construction company in Japan. The plant ensures the strict rules of the quality management system such prestigious ISO 9001: 2000, ISO 14001: 2004, HACCP, IFS, BRC. 3. Materials
Main materials for producing instant noodles include: flour, water, salt, frying oil.
Extra materials include: additional flour (usually cassava flour), alkaline water, CMC (carboxyl metyl cellulose), Natri polyphosphate and spices such as sugar, onion, pepper, egg...
Flour is one of the most important materials in manufacturing instant noodles. This flour is made of wheat. We have these kinds of flour depending on types of wheat: * Black wheat flour: made from black wheat, is often used to make whole wheat bread * White wheat flour: made from white wheat. White wheat flour is always used in manufacturing instant noodles. 4. Quality policy
Product quality is one of the determinants for the company’s existence and development. As a consequence, all products are strictly tested and monitored from raw materials input to finished goods output. All factories are well-equipped with modern and advanced machineries and technology; production complies with quality management standards such as ISO 9001:2000, ISO14001: 2004, HACCP, IFS, BRC, etc. to create high-quality nutritional products, which are healthy, hygienic, and safe to consumers, without causing environmental pollution and contributing to the sustainable society development.
In addition, the Company also offers regular trainings and professional knowledge advancements to employees to ensure the quality policy being smoothly implemented throughout the production process. The Company continuously improves the quality management system in order to stabilize product quality and improve productivity.
