Willian H Willimon is a Methodist Pastor and an excellent writer. He has a good ability to portray his message on paper through his thoughts and beliefs. He is one of the few writers that display to the reader, both sides of a discussion. Pastor is a book that enforces the magnitude and the importance of the Ordained Ministry. Willimon combined his book, with the importance of the biblical and historical role about the Ordained Ministry. His main goal is to provide us a better knowledge and understanding about ministry and how it is an action from God, and it is also an action from the Church.

The church must adapt itself to maintain the support of the community even with today’s modern challenges. It makes the Ordained more complicated and challenging.
The pastor has important mission in churches and the community, they are responsible to bring people close to God and showing them the beauty of faith. The first thought that a Pastor must have is that they are not responsible to only to take care of the people in their churches. Pastors are responsible for bringing Christ in peoples lives and showing them the wonderful things that God did, does and will do for you. It is extremely important that the Church is aware of all the needs of the community, and the Pastors as with a happy Pastor comes a happy church.
The Ordained Ministry works in a cycle. It is all connected. The church needs to be supporting the Pastor and helping him to provide the best service and teaching to the community. The church should support the congregation in any situation, many times people start to get deeply involved in church because something is very wrong in their lives. They are looking for “extra help” to find a solution. The Church must be aware and willing to help and support all the Christians regardless of the situation in
