Analyzing Li Bo's Works

Qinglian, addressed by Li Bo, lived from 701-762 during The Tang Dynasty. This period, also known as the golden age, witnessed the establishment of several new poetic forms although Li Bo’s works were trite, what he did accomplish was raising traditional poetry to its pinnacle of beauty through personifying elements of nature. LiBo had an assortment of living and inanimate companions in his poetry, along with his fixation on alcohol. Li Bo’s accomplice with virtually anything tangible or un-palpable displays his longing for comfort and friendship.
Unfortunately throughout most his works he does not have a companion that can physically communicate and respond to his attempts, bringing to light his undesirable isolation.

The poem’s style leads to the corroboration that in the world, there is trouble and constant chaos along with the contradiction between the LiBo’s ideal and the dark reality not being vented. Nevertheless, he occasionally disregarded formal restrictions and wrote for his purposes, such as altering the original formal. Libo is valuable in the sense that although the he suffers from the pressure of depression, he does not abandon his morals. The entire poems generous and valiant mood are ubiquitous, just portrayed in a high optimistic tone in a sad rhythm. The poem contains substantial thoughts and feelings, such as the rapid change of fluid nature, the sublime combination of the ups and downs of the art form and the development of movement capture his state of aversion towards mercurial life.
Libo’s human companions raise him to a zenith of peace by assisting his needs and feelings. In “Drinking with Someone in the Mountains” it opens with a sense of deep set, lighthearted friendship to demonstrate LiBo’s happiness of having a connection ,even if it …show more content…
LiBo also drinking away his problems and thoughts is a natural occurence which makes his self-inflicted situation spiral out of control.Wine sees into the internal conflict and dichotomy between his plentiful joy and harrowing pain, a paradoxical deception expressed in many of his writings. In “Drinking Alone With the Moon” he states “From a pot of wine among the flowers I drank alone. There was no one with me…” (1-2) to portray the vividness of the negative emotions he feels. However, he does not speak just of his own feelings but includes universal emotions as well.
