Bram Stoker was born on november 8th 1847 in clontarf ireland, as a child Bram could not walk until he was 7 he had an illness that kept him bedridden. as he got older he entered Trinity College Dublin in 1864. Stoker also worked for the Irish civil service, much like his father had done. Newly inspired by his travels and exposure to the arts, in 1875, Stoker published his first horror story, The Primrose Path.
His mother spent lots of time reading horror stories to him when he was little that’s where Dracula comes in. the story dracula was written in 1895 but published in 1897 he wanted to make Dracula a sexy overwhelming creature that most girls back then would find attractive.
