Example of don’t :

2
2

Tout l’or du Sud : 1. Bordeau 2. Orange 3. Vert 4. Gris 5. Rouge

4
4

6
6

Web Site Navigational Structure: an Argumentative Analysis on Web Site Design and Usability

...Running Head: Web Site Navigation Structure: An Argumentative Analysis on Web Site Design and Usability Web Site Navigational Structure: An Argumentative Analysis on Web Site Design and Usability Yu Wen Chiang Northeastern University Advanced Writing in the Disciplines Professor Suzanne Richard October 18, 2012 Running Head: Web Site Navigation Structure: An Argumentative Analysis on Web Site Design and Usability Introduction Many designers and engineers seem to be discussing what is good and bad user experience and how we’re supposed to delight our users so that they navigate our websites with ease. User experience can be a very blurry concept and consequently, many people use the term incorrectly. Many engineers seem to have a firm (and often unrealistic) belief in how they can craft the user experience of their product. However, a UX depends not only on how something is designed, but also other aspects such as clean, clear sign-up forms, smooth on-boarding experiences, and even helpful blank slates once users are inside applications. Design flows that are tied to clear objectives allow us to create a positive user experience and a valuable one for the business we’re working for. “Web sites are not always as successful or as usable as they could be. Users can encounter various problems when trying to acquire knowledge from a Web site and trying to use a Web site’s functionalities.” (X. Fang, 2012, p.453) Because the Web design industry is now flooded with...

Week Nine It/236 Web Site Analysis

...The Website site www.espn.com is an overall well balanced with great use of web graphic design. The last of my knowledge this website redesigned their web site in the early part of 2009 from a source, “Mike Industries” by Dream host. I am going to point out a lot of the positive aspects of this web site along with what I believe could make this site able to take the step to the next level in today’s industry. I believe overall the positive’s over look some of the negatives that this site has and that unless you are an expert in web design you would never know the flaws of this site. The overall cleanliness of this site is great and the have great use of CSS. When you just glance at this site you can tell that they have spent years designing and redesigning to make sure that it is close to perfect. When you look at the site’s homepage you can tell that they use CSS because all of the main topics or heading stand out from everything else in bigger, bolder and in different colors. Also, the color design they use is good, they use the colors that are of their nature which makes up their unique distinction from all of the other sports web pages. The colors help separate the page just like the titles and headings are bold to separate the main topics. This is an overall good use of CSS. They also use good design of tables, when you look at the bottom half of the web site you see their use of tables, helping divide important highlights and facts from around the world in......

Responsibility Web Site

...not a legal one. The short film was a great example of what happens within an organization if nobody chooses to step up to the plate and takes ethical responsibilities. An old saying says, “We are only as strong as our weakest link”. The saying easily applies to the legal and ethical responsibilities within any organization. Even though organizations will face social pressures, the organization has a responsibility to maintain its ethical and legal standards. Just because an act has no legal consequences, unethical issues may still be present. References Trevino, L.K. & Nelson, K.A. (2006). Essay Do's and Don'Ts

...Essay Do’s and Don’ts These are some things that you ABSOLUTELY have to learn to be good writers. These are not meant to be the only rules, but they are really important. 1. Always label all work in the LEFT hand corner. Some professors and instructors want their headings done a specific ways, but if specific instructions are not given, it is good to include your name, the professor’s name, the class name, and the date. 2. Essays ALWAYS get a title. Center the next line after your label, and enter a title for your essay that reflects the SUBJECT you are writing about, NOT the ASSIGNMENT. Also, in MLA, titles do not get ANY special treatment; no BOLD, no UNDERLINES, no SPECIAL FONT. Title should be just the same as the text. 3. Essays should all be typed in 12 pt. Times New Roman font (or another simple font if allowed or specified by the instructor or professor). This means you have to change it from the default font most times. Nothing fancy, and ALWAYS DOUBLE SPACE YOUR LINES. If you do not know how to do this, learn. Pull down the format menu, and choose paragraph. In the middle of the box is a spacing box. Choose double. Or, on the tool bar above the paragraph box choose the icon with the little arrows up and down. Click on the little arrow to the right and choose double. It is that easy. You will lose points if you do not double space. 4. Essay specifics: * Avoid beginning a sentence with a BUT. That means NO BUT OR AND to start a sentence.......

Do’s En Don’ts Bij Internationaal Zaken Doen.

Men rijdt in Australië links.

Web Sites - the Osi Model and Layer Protocols

...Web Sites - The OSI Model and Layer Protocols NTC/362 March 9, 2015 The building of a web site begins with considering the multilayered framework of the Open System Interconnection (OSI) model or the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) model. Network models are designed to categorize all the required functionality around computer communications as well as explain the relationship and flow of information from layer to layer. These models can also be thought of as the structure for interfacing human and data networks. It is also important to think of these models existing on both ends of the networked data transmission. The end to end process can be viewed as a six step process. In step 1 people create the communication. Step 2 the application layer prepares human communication for transmission over the data network. Step 3 software and hardware convert communication to a digital format. Step 5 the application layer services initiate the data transfer. Step 5 model layers play a role in encapsulating data down the stack. Encapsulated data travels across the media to the destination. Model layers then unencapsulate the data up the stack. Lastly in step 6 the application layer receives the data from the network and prepares it for human use. The seven layers of the OSI model are 1-Physical, 2-Dat Link, 3-Network, 4-Transport, 5-Session, 6-Presentation, and 7-Application. The TCP/IP model is a four layer model. The layers of the TCP/IP......

Web Site of Midland Bank

... Problem in the current web site of Midland bank The first problem that I found in Midland bank’s web site is that it’s a full of unnecessary images and the images sizes are very large. These images are just capturing the whole pages that create bad effect of the pages. For example , this picture doesn’t mean any effective sense here rather it just reduce the sizes of take proper information on the page. These pictures also increasing the page loaded time and it is hamper for any web site and customers feel disappointed when they browse the sites. Therefore, another problem are the site has lack of information. The information are not organized nicely and the site is not look like a standard financial service’s web site. Moreover, in this website meta description is not mention clearly. Visitors will be confused about the description while they visit the site. Then, in this site they don’t mention about reward program or the ranking position of their bank. Additionally, they just put their sponsor’s picture in their site but they don’ mention about their designation and other information about their sponsors that is very difficult to recognize their sponsors through visiting web site. In my observation another findings they don’t take important information in their site and the information that provided in their web site is not organized clearly. Web Site Publication Process

...Web Site Publishing Process Mario Padilla IT/237 September 3, 2011 University of Phoenix/Axia College Web Site Publishing Process Today there are many ways to publish your website, which should be evaluated according to what you want to communicate on the Internet. What we published is one of the first questions to be asked. We want to publish a personal website, professional, a blog, audio or otherwise. This election will define our initial publication, which is why we must be very sure and plan as much as possible. The type of site we post will play a main objective which we must be clearly delineated before doing anything. Then how the public. This takes into account the resources and knowledge which we have or could have. The primary budget will define what kind of publication can take shape. If we do not have sufficient funding to pay for a hosting, a domain, we have sufficient training or to edit our pages the best choice is to use a wizard to publish a free hosting service or sponsored. The choice of site hosting quite fit with final scope of our project. If your site has dynamic pages need to have databases, but any host that suits us in terms of speed, stability and service is adequate. We must also consider other issues such as how many e-mail allows us to hold that share file transfer and offers support when implementing forms and other services such as domain aliases, sub domains, statistics, etc.. Week 9 It236 Web Site Analysis

...Web Site Analysis May 27, 2012 IT/236 Web Design When it comes to building a web site, a designer needs to think about many different things before they can begin to build the web site. Audience being number one, navigation, and overall look are three key things a designer should focus on when designing a site. After researching the Market Watch (Market Watch, 2012) web site there are many things I would recommend for change to this site, regarding the three key points. So much work needs to go into the design phase of a site, when you just put things on a site you will get something like what is seen on Market Watch’s site. When I began to look over this website, I did start to think about the stock broker and how busy and fast-paced their lives are and began to associate this page with them. However, the designers also have to think about the novice stock brokers and personal finance users as well who may not be able to grasp this type of page. Having so much information for the audience to view is a little overwhelming, it needs to be divided up or spaced out a little differently. Many people in the world today try to manage their own finances and read the stock market themselves; going to the internet for help is where they begin. If users cannot accurately and easily read a site, they will look elsewhere for the information. Navigation on a web site should be simple and clear. If you enter a web site and it is unclear about where you are supposed to go......

Riordan Business-to-Business Web Site

...Riordan Business-to-Business Web Site Use Case Scenarios Analysis In deciding which way to take Riordan Manufacturing’s business-to-business web site use case studies were performed and the top two scenarios were chosen for further analysis. Both scenarios present a way for Riordan to improve raw material ordering through different means. In order to decide which path to take the two scenarios will be discussed in greater detail including a brief synopsis on the technological role involving systems analysis and design, database design, programming, networking, and the web. Use Case 1 As described before, in use case scenario 1, a Riordan employee would log into a business-to-business web site and place an order with one of our partnered vendors as Figure 1 depicts. The employee logs into the secure website, chooses a vendor from a list, selects from the common list of products purchased from the vendor, chooses a quantity and enters a required by date, the vendor receives notification of an order, verifies credit status or requests credit card information, fills the order, generates an invoice, and ships the order to our warehouse. Use Case 2 In use case scenario 2, as shown in Figure 2, the approach to replenishing key inventory levels resides with the vendor. Triggers in the database alert the vendor via email that the level is at its threshold and then the supplier logs into the secure business-to-business web site, issues an order to ship replenishment......
