EEOC was first created in the Historic Civil Rights Act of 1964. The act was addressing not only discrimination in employment, but also in voting, public accommodations, and education.
Congress first started the Equal Employment Opportunities in Washington D.C. It has gone through many stages to be here today.
The main focus of Equal Employment Opportunities is that it is illegal to discriminate against people for their race, age, sex, religion and color or genetic information. People have the right to file if they think they are being discriminated by their company. For the company, it is illegal for them to discriminate against you because you have made a charge.
EEC main roles are fairness and accurately. EEC will do everything they can
