The way that I feel about Halloween, its very fun to celebrate with the festivities of it all, Halloween creates a cheerful holiday spirit around people because of the season, making it fun to find products that you can celebrate the holiday with, especially for cheap. Another thing, decorating your home, apartment, and building putting Halloween stickers, lighting and ornaments around the grounds, on the windows visible to the eye for the neighborhood and the community to see, displaying the poster picture of a scary character on the front and back doors too. Another thing that I enjoy with the Halloween celebration is baking cookies, cupcakes, and other desserts for trick or treaters to enjoy as they collect candy and treats throughout the city, getting a colored low watt light bulb to make the porch look decorative too. Also placing small orange pumpkins and other decors on the porch. And last making a comfortable seat with a cushion for myself as I pass out variety candies. …show more content…
20 years ago I would have usually celebrated Halloween with taking both of my boys out for trick or treating in multiple parts of town, now mom has to stay home, and my two young adult children play with the other young adult children meaning partying the wild way. My childhood memories of Halloween was the same thing very square going out to multiple neighborhood homes, knocking door to door for candy and visiting the West Ward Recreation Center to watch the city of Trenton recreation department bring the Trenton, New Jersey drumming and drill team out to do a performance for Halloween. I took my children to the same performance years ago but now everything has changed because of their age, and they did enjoy the performance the city of Trenton recreation department gave for
