Louise Kurt had been struggling with the guilt of not seeing her family enough, but this just took it to a whole new level. She was driving to the house. The house where her father was dying and her mother was heartbroken. She was a storyteller, it was as simple as that. Her father loved her stories, and she loved telling them. She was telling him 1 last story until his time was up. A story to say goodbye.

The trip wasn’t long. She reached the big blue house with the white picket fence and stepped out to admire the beauty of it all. Her mother, Mary, came running out, a worried look on her face. “Honey, he’s almost gone. I know this is going to be hard, but he wants you to tell him a story.
