How can you top five ranking skills help you in the classroom environment? * * My first top ranking skill that will help me in the classroom environment is time management. This to me is the most important top ranking skills, because time management is everything. What I mean is that when you are in a classroom environment you have to management your time properly, such like a daily routine so you know that, everyday at that time you are obligated to that time so that you know that part of your day is scheduled for your distance learning. Even though you had a hectic schedule and been busy all day, you know that you manage your time everyday around the same time so you don’t forget. A second top ranking skill is setting priorities, you have to know which of your priorities is first and that they are well taking care of before you can go head and continue with your day. You cannot plan to be in a classroom environment and have a whole bunch of priorities that needs to be taking care of. Priorities are very much important, such as making sure all your errands are done, an important doctor appointment, or taking your child to a very important school event. Priorities are very important, because they make your day less stressful and hectic free. Next comes stress management, everyone need to be stress free at times, and the only way for you to be stress free is to manage your stress the right way, even if you have to see someone for help to help you manage your stress, having too much stress in your life is not a good thing, a lot of things could...

...attribute which is the weight, so it is the lightest smartphone. It is the most expensive at $649 in comparison to the other smartphones being priced ranging from $449 to $579. That makes the iPhone 5 about $100 more expensive, yet it is basically the lowest ranked with respect to the selected attributes. In some attributes like CPU speed and the megapixels of the camera it is close to the other phones listed. According to the table given with attributes of smartphones I believe that iPhone 5 is not well positioned compared to the competitors. The iPhone 5 is the lowest ranking in every category listed except for the weight of the phone itself. The other competitors have better numbers and they are all listed at a cheaper price. The Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Sony Xperia ZL are the top ranking in the positioning map. iPhone 5 should be worried about these competitors because they have better functioning skills and have higher attributes including have a lower price. There needs to be more information other than the...

Job Evaluation

...and place them in a hierarchy that will reflect the relative worth of each. There are four general job evaluation methods. Ranking method The description of each job being evaluated and arrange the jobs in order according to their value to the company. This method requires a committee – typically composed of both management and employee representative – to arrange join a simple rank order from highest to lowest. No attempts are made to break down the jobs by specific weighted criteria. The committee members merely compare two jobs and judge which one is more important, or more difficult to perform. Then they compare the other job with the first two, and so on until all the jobs have been evaluated and ranked. The most obvious limitation to the ranking method is its sheer inability to be managed when there are a large number of jobs. Other drawbacks to be considered are the subjectivity of the method- there are no definite or consistent standards by which to justify the rankings- and the fact that because jobs are only ranked in terms of order, we have no knowledge of the distance between the ranks. Factor comparison method: In this the entire job in mind as they evaluate; instead, they makedecisions on separate aspects, or factors, of the job. A basic underlying assumption isthat there are five universal job factors: (1) Mental Requirements. (2) Skills. (3) Physical Requirements. (4) Responsibilities. (5) Working Conditions. The committee first...

If you’re creating a site in hard HTML, make sure you use your keyword as part of a bold title at the top of the page. 3. Use the keyword within the text of the page. Many SEO sites will tell you that you must use a certain percentage of keyword density to achieve optimum rankings. In my experience this isn’t true. However, it’s wise to use the keyword two or three times on the page. If you have an exceptionally large amount of text on the page (more than 1,000 words), you can get away with using the keyword more often. 4. Use at least 300 words of total text on the page. You can of course get a ranking with less textual content. Actually, you can get a ranking with no content at all. However, this will make it much more difficult. If we’re going for optimal pages, they need to have 300+ words of content. 5. Use the keyword in a link that points to another related page. This aspect is easily taken care of by...

It is clear that Adrian thought through this process and made the decision to use a paper written by someone other than herself. Violet is next in the ranking for most responsible for the failing grade. Violet’s role in this situation included the emailing and sharing of the prewritten paper. She was the individual who gave the idea of using or purchasing a paper written by someone other than Adrian. Louise is next in the ranking. Louise provided the prewritten paper to Violet which is what Adrian used and received the failing grade. If she hadn’t provided this paper to Violet, which was forwarded to Adrian, it’s possible that Adrian would not have used a prewritten paper. Professor Johnston ranks number four. The professor posted his late policy prior to this occurrence. He made it clear to Adrian that he was unable to make any exceptions regarding his late policy when she asked for an extension. This made Adrian aware of the consequences if she were to submit a late assignment. Dean Richards is next in the ranking. He played an even smaller role in the failing grade. His role includes promoting and enforcing the Academic Integrity Policy. ...Cluster Analysis Livia Dancelli, Marica Manisera, and Marika Vezzoli Abstract When the aim is to group rankings, matching-type measures must be used in cluster analysis techniques. Among these, rank-based correlation coefficients, as the Spearman’s ρ , can be considered. To this regard, we think that Weighted Rank Correlation measures are remarkably useful, since they evaluate the agreement between two rankings emphasizing the concordance on top ranks. In this paper, we employ an appropriate Weighted Rank Correlation measure to evaluate the dissimilarity between rankings in a hierarchical cluster analysis, in order to segment subjects expressing their preferences by rankings. An illustrative example on selected rankings shows that the resulting groups contain subjects whose preferences are more similar on the most important ranks. The procedure is then applied to real data from an extensive 2011 survey carried out in the Italian McDonald’s restaurants. Key words: rank-based correlation coefficients, matching-type measures, hierarchical cluster analysis 1 Introduction Cluster analysis aims at identifying groups of individuals or objects that are similar to each other but are different from individuals in other groups (among others, [4]). This is useful, for example, in market segmentation studies, also when consumers’ preferences are expressed by grades, leading to rankings of products or services provided by individuals. In this situations, standard clustering......

Describe how the chain of command works within the a service The chain of command is essential within all uniformed public services in particular it is essential for the Fire Service. One reason for this would be discipline as it is necessary within a service like this because there isn’t time for people to argue or discuss how they’re going to complete a job. If a team of fireman were going at an incident, the ranked fireman would be in their places doing what higher ranks have told them to do and it makes them an effective team. It’s also important for the different ranks to respect they’re higher ranking colleagues because they have not only earnt it but are experienced enough to plan how they’re going to do something. Walmart uses a color that makes user’s experience more fascinating than that of Target. Navigation on the Walmart website is easier with these aforementioned factors when compared to the Target website. Factor 3: Audience Overview When comparing both Walmart and Target websites, both websites are ranked 7/10 by Google but Alexa ranking puts the Walmart website ahead of Target. In my further analysis, more users visit the Walmart website. The traffic on the Walmart website is more than twice as much as Target’s in the last six month of 2013. Comparing Co-Workers Against Each Other: Does This Motivate Employees?

...Question 1. What's your opinion regarding forced ranking performance appraisals? Do they motivate employees? Explain. I believe forced ranking performance appraisals can be motivating for some employees and not motivating for others. Individuals with strong high-order needs who know that they will be ranked come appraisal time will strive and perform in order to achieve the highest rank possible. Other individuals with weak high-order needs might not strive for a high rank. I believe these individuals might even perform below their ability because of perceptions (i.e. "why should I work harder because so and so will get a higher rank than me anyway"). Even though I have consistently ranked high whenever evaluated under a forced ranked system in the past, I personally do not like forced ranked performance appraisals and believe they can cause an organization more harm and be less productive because of the system. I served in the U.S. Navy from 1994 until 1999. During that time I was evaluated annually by my superior(s) in a quasi forced ranked performance appraisal system. At that time in the Navy there were three evaluation marks a sailor could receive: Promotable (average), Must Promote (above average) and Early Promote (Outstanding). The evaluation one would receive weighed heavily on the sailor's likelihood of being promoted to the next rank/pay grade at the next promotion cycle, which also occurred annually several months after the evaluations were given....
