Outline
THESIS: Marijuana should be legalized because it can be used for medical use, and it a safer alternative than alcohol . 1. Marijuana can be used to treat many illnesses. 2. Medical marijuana had helped save the life of a very young girl with a rare form of epilepsy that basically did not have a cure.

Nowadays, it looks like more people are against the law than for the law when in reality it should be the other way around. One example is the very controversial topic of marijuana. A lot of people are for it and a lot of people are not. People see that marijuana is a "drug" and automatically think it's a bad thing. Marijuana has picked up a bad name through out the year but it doesn’t necessarily make it bad itself. The people that think it's bad do not realize that marijuana can be used for medical reasons to treat many different types of illnesses. If I had a certain type of illness and only marijuana can help treat it, you better believe I'm going to start taking that medicine!
According to drugfreeworld.org, roughly 158.8 million, which is 3.8% of the planet's population, people around the world use marijuana. There should not be any reason to not have marijuana legalized. Marijuana has so much uses such as to treat many types of illnesses. "The evidence is overwhelming that marijuana can relieve certain types of pain, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms caused by such illnesses as multiple sclerosis, cancer and AIDS -- or by the harsh drugs sometimes used to treat them.", Joycelyn Elders, MD. Every year so many people in the entire world get diagnosed with cancer. An article that was uploaded on The Huffington Post stated that each year 12.7 million people discover they have cancer and 7.6 million people die from the disease.

Talent Shows - Dream or Nightmare

...Talent shows - dream or nightmare I like to watch talentshows like Britain's got talent or American's got talent, because I like to see people's talents and skills. Some of them are funny and others are just stupid or humoristic. I play music myself and I like to watch other musicians walk up to the stage and just play what they are best at. I think that, in a talent shows or any other show, the judges should not be too rude, they can be honest and if the talents do not really have a talent it is okay for the judges to be honest. It is easy for the judges to be rude to the particiants and crash them emotionally. So the judges can only be rude to the participants if they are really bad, or if it is somehing really silly. I like talentshows better than song contests because I think that song contests become boring quickly. I think that it is people who do sing themselves who will enjoy song contests mostly. Talent show is a great way to bring the family together and spread laughter across the worldwide nation. I think that it would be fun to participate in a talent show, perhaps alone, perhaps with a band. I play alot of music myself. I've ben playing music for seven and a half year now, I play piano, bass, drums and the guitar. If I should participate in a talent show I would either play a piece on the piano, or I would drag my band to the stage and show the judges and the audience my skills. When i play the piano I mostly play Classical music or Jazz. But in my band do...
