In the last reflection I was preparing for my speech, since then I have presented my speech and completed and turned in my product. It has been a long been a long road since the last reflection. I would only change the timeline of the product. I wish I could have gotten all of my footage for the product before the Thanksgiving Break. There is something about getting a ton of footage then being able to put it all together that makes me happy.
Heading back to the speeches of the research project I think that it went well, I believe I got an 85, so I would say that is pretty good. There is something nerve racking about doing a presentation in front of a class but doing it in front of a bunch of random people I think would be easier. To compare what I am talking about, I had a solo in band and I found it easier to play in front of the student body at home games then at during practice in front of the students at in the band room. I find this interesting and I think it is all mind games but I am unsure. Overall I think that I rambled a little much in my speech and then I think that there …show more content…
I was but I think I could have done better with it all, mainly the timeline at which things happened and how they happened. Now when talking about those “things,” I mean all of the work, this included filming, editing, rendering, and repeating the process if I did not like the video, Now, time management could have been done WAY better, there was a lot that I did not due right or on “time,” with time being before the day it was due. I meet with my mentor on the 30th of November, mainly to get everything signed but he helped me fix a bunch of things, and I would say that I did not do some of the things right, or I have not completed this to the best of my ability. ...Climate of Extremes Book Review & Personal Reflection on Global Warming When talking to my family over thanksgiving break about school and my current class load for the semester, one of the more interesting topics that was brought up was the debate over global warming. It was interesting to hear the viewpoints of my mother’s side and fathers’ side of the family. For the most part my mothers’ side of the family are hardcore republicans and use faith as a basis for most of their political positions, while my fathers’ side (not my father however) tend to lead more towards the democratic viewpoint on politics. While I am a catholic and would consider myself to lean towards more of a conservative viewpoint, I try to separate faith from politics and focus more on what I believe is the core of the issue being debated and how it can be solved, not necessarily to benefit the majority, but rather what would be a fair compromise between to the two arguing sides.
