The government should not ban large sugary drinks for several reasons. One reason the government shouldn't ban sugary drinks is that people have the right to choose what they want to drink. “'We are smart enough to make our own decisions about what to eat and drink,'” stated Liz Berman from the group New Yorkers for Beverage Choices.In the United States we have the right to make our own decisions in what we drink. People have the right to choose what they want to drink even if it’s bad for them. The mayor of New York wanted to ban large drinks because he was concerned about people’s health.He states,“All we’re
