I would recommend this movie to other people because the movie shows that it doesn't matter if people are different. Throughout the entire movie Margaret was ashamed of having Deaf parents because she thought people would make fun of them. When a friend of margaret's makes fun of her parents by pitying them, Margarete is ashamed to have Deaf parents. However, Mr. Petrakis explains to Margaret that it doesn't matter if she has Deaf parents and she is told by Mr. Petrakis “should be proud you're different”. This quote from the movie shows that it doesn't matter if you're different and that you should embrace the fact that you are different.
