Why Ed Sheeran Should Choose Me to Be His Girlfriend
By Isabelle Bradford

Why should Ed Sheeran pick me to be his girlfriend you ask? Well, obviously it’s because we have so much in common, but if you don’t know either of us very well, fret not, I shall explain it to you. Firstly, Ed and I would be a great couple because I am his ultimate fan. There is no doubt that I know everything about him, and appreciate him more than anyone else. I know Ed’s entire history, from when he was a street performer up until today. A close friend and I run an instagram account dedicated to the Sheerio fandom. The term “sheerio” is what you would refer to as a hardcore Ed Sheeran fan. Everyday we post pictures of him and write a nice message about Ed or quote part of a song that he’s written. This is proof of the extensive knowledge I have about Ed, and the commitment I have to him. Secondly, Ed and I would be a fantastic couple because I play the ukulele and he plays the guitar (amongst other instruments), so we would be able to spend time writing songs together. This is beneficial to him because he would be able to spend time writing songs for work, whilst spending time with his girlfriend. If we were to have true feelings for each other, I could be his muse. As every genuine sheerio knows, he writes a lot of his songs based on the people in his life. More often than not they are love songs, and I would be thrilled if he wrote them about me. Thirdly, Ed and I would be an amazing couple because on March 7th, 2015 at the AEG Mercedes-Benz Live arena we said our ‘I love you’s ‘ to each other. I was sitting in the third row and during the concert, while he sang Tenerife Sea (a slow song), and he took an extra 30 seconds to play a tune on the guitar. While the audience was dead silent, I took my chance and yelled, “I Love you, Edward Sheeran!” The audience was still silent, and he laughed into the microphone, then said, “I love you too”. I can tell you that my heart sounded like a jackhammer. These are the reasons why I believe Ed Sheeran should choose me to be his girlfriend. He couldn’t find someone as dedicated as I would be. We would honestly, be the most adorable couple.

Mans

...The Moose and the Sparrow Hugh Garner From the very beginning Moose Maddon picked on him. The kid was bait for all of Maddon's cruel practical jokes around the camp. He was sent back to the tool-house for left-handed saws, and down to the office to ask the pay cheater if the day's mail was in, though the rest of us knew it was only flown out every week. The kid's name was Cecil, and Maddon used to mouth it with a simpering mockery, as if it pointed to the kid being something less than a man. I must admit though that the name fitted him, for Cecil was the least likely lumberjack I've seen in over twenty-five years in lumber camps. Though we knew he was intelligent enough, and a man too, if smaller than most of us, we all kidded him, in the good natured way a bunkhouse gang will. Maddon however always lisped the kid's name as if it belonged to a woman. Moose Maddon was as different from Cecil as it is possible for two human beings to be and still stay within the species. He was a big moose of a man, even for a lumber stiff, with a round flat unshaven face that looked down angrily and dourly at the world. Cecil on the other hand was hardly taller than an axe-handle, and almost as thin. He was about nineteen years old, with the looks of an inquisitive sparrow behind his thick horn-rimmed glasses. He had been sent out to the camp for the summer months by an distant relative who had a connection with the head office down in Vancouver. That summer we were cutting big stuff in...

Summertime

...town,” the woman said, a little louder now, and again the man nodded. “I’d love to stay awhile longer and explore, but my home, well, one of my homes is on the garden tour, so I’ve got to get back to Williamsburg.” I was eleven years old, yet still the statement seemed strange to me. If she’d hoped to impress the Korean, the woman had obviously wasted her breath, so who was this information for? “My home, well, one of my homes”; by the end of the day my mother and I had repeated this line no less than fifty times. The garden tour was unimportant, but the first part of her sentence brought us great pleasure. There was, as indicated by the comma, a pause between the words “home” and “well,” a brief moment in which she’d decided, Oh, why not? The following word— “one”—had blown from her mouth as if propelled by a gentle breeze, and this was the difficult part. You had to get it just right or else the sentence lost its power. Falling somewhere between a...

Gone Home

...home she knows. Her parents moved while she was away, and the house is as unfamiliar to Katie as it is to the player — after all, you are one and the same. No one is there to greet you. The door is locked. The house is empty. The only acknowledgment you are given is a note written by your younger sister, Sam. She apologizes for not being there. She asks that you not go digging around for answers. She says she’ll see you again one day. And that’s it. There’s no quest log, no directions, no arrow pointing you toward something of use. Gone Home hinges on the assumption that curiosity alone is enough to drive the player onward. It certainly was for me. The farther I went into the house, the more anxious I was to learn what had happened there. Why had no one been there waiting for me? Was Sam hurt? Were my parents hurt? Was I in danger? Was I really alone? A storm raged outside, drumming on...

Oiler Cas Study

...1) Yes I do believe that Oiler’s employee rights were violated. Oiler was a dedicated employee of twenty years he did an outstanding job, oiler’s personal life for twenty years did not affect the company (Winn-Dixie) or his ability to do a good job. I do not believe that a company should be able to fire anyone for their personal ways. When I say personal ways I mean how someone lives, dresses, or acts outside of their working environment unless it has to do directly with the company itself. If oiler was going around representing Winn-Dixie in any way then yes I could understand why the company would feel a little threatened. I feel that the decision to fire Oiler was based off of someone’s personal feelings towards Oiler being a cross dresser which is very unprofessional, a company should not fire anyone based on personal feelings but instead on how could this effect the company. On the clock Oiler was a very professional employee for twenty years. Not only was Oiler’s employee rights violated but his civil rights also. The seventh Amendment to the civil rights act of 1964 prohibits discrimination in hiring based on sex, religion, and national origin. The Fifth Amendment has an explicit requirement that the federal government not deprive any individual of life, liberty, or property without due process of the law. By firing Oiler for cross dressing is depriving him of living his life in which I do not believe that companies should legally be able to fire employee’s...

Creating Lean Suppliers

...“Creating Lean Suppliers” a Consider that the new corporate procurement strategy in support of your manufacturing business includes securing purchased critical parts and subassemblies from “lean” practicing suppliers. Your supply chain management in previous years has practiced the strategy of single sourcing as well as long-term partnering for critical purchased material. Prepare a list of bullets showing the advantages and disadvantages of staying with current suppliers (i.e. not switching) that currently do not have a “lean” in place and also define in the response your plan to achieve the new “lean” supplier requirement. I Advantage: * Better relationship – further involved in new production process * Better reputation (ethics) * Knowing the supplier better – its problems, cost-structure, and technology * Supplier may be more responsive * Creating “trust” II Disadvantage: * Cost of the BP team * Require extensive capital investment or extra personnel for suppliers * Time consuming (for the suppler to be lean) * Difficulty to change and sustain In order to achieve the new “lean” supplier requirement, I would want suppliers that have substantial responsibility during product development; the ability to accommodate and respond to the request of changes in product or manufacturing process; extensive capital investment or extra human resources. Also the suppliers that is reliable, and “self-reliant.” b Analyze Honda’s...

Six, Sigma, Lean

...Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen J. Paul Seiberlich Siena Heights University Prof. Anderson February 5, 2015 Kaizen and Six Sigma are associated with the Quality Model for achieving success in business. The term Kaizen has many different uses ranging from referring to a principle of personal conduct to a company wide strategy for achieving business success (Imai, 1986). In the United States, one of its most common uses is as the name of a lean enterprise tool for improving work processes. In this use, it refers to a systematic and specialized application of problem solving to uncover and extract waste from a work process. Kaizen as a company wide strategy for achieving business success is derived from the writings of W. Edwards Deming although the completeness of that connection seems to be unrecognized. It abstracts from Deming’s work the ideas that improvements must benefit customers; that they must occur every day, everywhere, and be implemented by everyone; that management must lead the implementation and that managers must be models and agents of its adoption; and that management and non-management employees must operate cooperatively. (Vitalo, R. 2013) The term “Kaizen” has two uses. One use refers to the principle of continuous improvement and describes a fundamental element in the Quality Model and in Lean thinking. The second use refers to methods that either suggest (e.g., Teian Kaizen) or generate and implement improvement ideas. Of the methods...

...Final Case Submission: Avion Inc. 1. What parts of the supply chain are most closely involved with the situation in this case? What is the responsibility of each part in order to maintain a smooth flow of material? Procurement and Contracts: Should be responsible to amend the agreement that clearly defines what the service level requirements are, sets out the change control mechanism, the communication protocol and representative of both parties and review the agreement in conjunction with the supplier to remove any ambiguity. Category Management: Should be responsible for developing a SQM that will allow provide both parties with a forum to work in partnership and set targets and KPIs. Material Management: Should be responsible to understand the required and forecast inventory stocks and coordinate accordingly. Logistics: Should be responsible for transporting the product through the supply chain. 2. What initially appears to be the problem? What really is the problem(s) in this case? The problem initially appears to be that the vendor is not meeting the expected performance level required by the customer. However the problem is not with the vendor rather within Avion. It appears that the company does not have appropriate cross function engagement, rather working in silos. There is no obvious communication structure whereby the SCM understands the scope requirements and can translate this to the vendor. Also following contract award it is not clear what...

Explain Why I Hated Because Of My Skin Color

...It’s hard to understand the true meaning behind why I am hated because of my skin color. This past weekend was Halloween and I’ve seen some costumes on social media and was truly baffled by some I’ve seen. Supposedly there is Halloween costume called black face. Some people may not see anything wrong with it but if people knew the history of black face they’d understand it’s wrong. It came around the time people of color couldn’t be stars or lead actors in theatre plays. So African American roles were played by white people dressed in blackface. I don’t understand why it is accepted or allowed but the United States of America is a free country so we are free to do what we chose. ...Have you ever had that feeling that you just know it’s right but you can’t explain why? It’s like bigger than a ‘gut-feeling’, it just sounds right in your mind. Although, you can’t really explain why, it’s quite confusing really. I’ll try my best to let you understand this feeling for you. For me, I was born in Gothenburg, a small, quiet place in Sweden. I had the pleasure of living there for nine years, I never really at the time thought what an amazing place it really is. I’m not trying to say it has everything because it doesn’t - it just feels like home to me. It’s where I was born and raised. When you’re born somewhere and live there for quite a long time, you genuinely start to make a connection with it. It sounds really silly, but if you move country, the connection you had with that place will become a lot more apparent. As if your whole life, your heart is developing a special, strong bond with that place, you just don’t know it until you’re gone. I remember how at the age of seven (when you start school in Sweden), I would take a bus and a train, I loved this, it made me feel really independent, as if my parents had built that faith in me. I felt like I really deserved it, I felt like an adult. It was a total of forty-five minutes journey to school, by myself. At the time, I didn’t think that was a big deal, everyone did that. When all your surroundings have the same routine as you, it’s as if that small, precious thing isn’t really that valued anymore. You...
