In September 11, 2001 the day that whole world was falling down at the moment, when the two tallest building in New York being crashed by planes. I would like to explore after the World Trade Center being attacked, and how do the people think about the broken construction. Mostly, the main artifact which is the photography of the falling man taken by Richard Drew. The falling man that jumps from the building gives people many explanation of why he wanted to do this. The memory of the trauma will always reminded in people’s mind, which will recall them by the artifacts, it can preserve the facts and doing education. I am going to compare the happened events or artifacts in September 11 with the material that we have discussed within the class, by doing this comparing we can increase the importance of memory of monument work (Huyssen 254). Why does September 11 is important to the Americans even important to the world? Because this was one of the biggest tragedies in the world, every place in the world knows about this event and they keep talking about the consequences after the tragedy.

On September 11, 2001, there had four planes being hijacked by the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda, and they made out the suicide attacks to the targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon near Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Over 3,000 people were killed during the attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C., including more than 400 police officers and firefighters (History). Because of 911 there are many aspects have been effected, for example economy, culture, and politic. The trauma that September 11 causes to the United States is never faded, people discuss the event everyday and memorial it on every September 11. What is “trauma”
