Cu un relief pietros, arid, cu putine paduri in parteacontinentala si o multime de insule in Marea Egee , Grecia a atins un grad decivilizatie unic in acea perioada (2500-1000 i.Hr) in Europa.Saracia tinutului muntos i-a determinat sa devina buni navigatori. Au cutreieratMarea Mediterana in lung si-n lat, facand comert. In schimb ei dadeauuntdelemn (ulei), masline, vin, vase din ceramica pictata.Grecia era impartita in regiuni mai mici, numite state, conduse de catre un oras(,,polis''). In mijlocul orasului erau pietele publice, numite ,,agora''.

Am putea vedeain aceasta una dintre consecintele caderii Troiei II, 2200 i.e.n.

In lumea egeeana avem si acum a face cu aceeasi populatie preindoeuropeana cucare ne-am intalnit in Elada neolitica.

...Nowadays, People love using telephones and email to communicate with others. It cause that people are less personal now. Why the use of telephones and email makes people less personal? Communicating become easily, the expression of body language has forgotten and the working habit are the reasons. The ease of communication that the telephones and email provide is the one reason. If one people miss someone, due to the improvement of technology, he can just call up to him instead of meeting with him. However, they do not realize that communicating through email and telephones will weaken the relationship between them. Moreover, if communicating with others without using face-to-face communication, people cannot feel the emotion of others by seeing their body language. The sound in telephones and sentences in email cannot express the emotion clearly. The body language and tone can express emotion more obviously so that it will make the distance of people become farther and farther away. Furthermore, when people use telephones and email to converse with others, they are unconscious to become stereotyped even thought face to parents. Usually officers contact with their superiors through email and telephones on about reports or work. For a long time, officers will always use formal language to communicate with others no matter whether they are superiors. People are becoming less personal. ...professionals to provide essential services for the citizens of the state. Communication is the key factor in the ability to perform my duties. I communicate with those that I provide service to through email, telephone, and face to face discussions. One of the major duties of my position is to recruit healthcare professionals such as laboratory specialists, nurses, program consultants, and epidemiologists. Competition for these types of healthcare professionals is fierce in the Atlanta area. The state of Georgia Public Health Department has to compete with private and public hospitals as well as federal health facilities such as the Centers for Disease Control. In order to attract these professionals, job announcements have to be written in such a way that captures the interest of the applicant. The job announcement has to be easy to read and contain clear instructions to apply for the positions. Communication with the hiring manager on the creation of this job announcement always begins with an email. Electronic mail correspondence from the hiring manager initiates the recruitment process. Since job advertisements are posted on various electronic job boards, email correspondence accommodates for more efficient job postings. The job announcement is sent to me via email as an attachment in Word format. This allows me to use the cut and paste method to post jobs instead...

Communication Technology

...Communication Technology Steve Lopez BUS 600: Management Communications with Technology Tools Prof. James Worsley August 6, 2012 Communication Technology Communication and technology have evolved over the years and at a rapid pace. With these tools together, they have shaped industries and grew businesses exponentially. Many years ago, man had to use smoke from fire to communicate over long distances. With the new inventions and new technologies for communication, the business world shrunk the globe. Baack (2012) defines communication as, “transmitting, receiving, and processing information.” The organization that does these three things the quickest gives them an advantage on their competition. An organization needs to enhance its performance by first understanding the correct communication technology for them. The organization needs to be able to deliver communications that are timely, accurate, effective, and efficient. “These various modes of communication may be used to disseminate official information between employees and management, to exchange hearsay and rumors, or anything in between” (Reference for Business). Organizations need to understand what communication tools will best fit their organization. Defining the objectives of the organizations communication needs along with the costs is beneficial to the right communication tools needed for that specific organization. Table 1.1 shows the...

Communication Technology

...INTRODUCTION TO COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY Communication is often considered as essential in business, regardless of whether it is used to collect data from a team of researchers on market trends or to reach audiences across national boundaries for marketing purposes. Effective communication is an important key to success for organisations and the lack of it can lead to mistakes, strategic blunders, or even catastrophic failures. Whatever profession one may be in or may wish to pursue, the ability to communicate is a skill that employers would expect employees to have (Courtland & John, 2010). The history of communication starts from cave man’s invention their own way of communicating, evident in the historical relics of cave drawings. The Native Americans used smoke signals for long distance communication while the Native Africans were known to use drums as a means of long distance communication. There are several tongues and languages in the world today and these are all means to the purpose of communication. However, the field of communication has changed drastically since the advent of technology and the modern economy has been adopting these technologies to reap greater benefits and profits. The interplay of forces between communication technology is evident in our day-to-day lives. Such as moving from the heydays of barter trade to being able to purchase goods through telegraphic transfer that can happen almost instantly, with less concern for the physical...
