This was it. Everything came down to this minute. I could feel the eyes of each individual in my nation enthusiastically stuck to their TV screens, effectively arranging out my moderate and frightful demise in the event that I didn't make this objective. The throbbing in my nose just increased as I attempted to pinpoint the point I would need to shoot it at with a specific end goal to keep away from the various safeguards running towards me. Recovering self-control, I let my eyes movement to the right and saw a whole mass of red in the stadium, applauding me and waving banners and standards circulating everywhere. The red helped me to remember my broken nose, which was currently draining lavishly onto my raised arm. Time appeared to ease off as I lifted my foot back and went for the highly contrasting ball before me. I felt my right foot have effect with the ball and I could swear I heard an aggregate breathe in from the whole gathering of people as it cruised through the air towards its objective. Abruptly, everything turned red.i began to frenzy, thinking my nose had truly arrived at its severing point and possibly fallen. At that point, I understood that my blood couldn't in any way, shape or form be weighing me down this much… and what was that shouting in my ear? An alternate wave of red pushed me downwards, and after that I was suffocating in it; it was all over the place. I felt myself being lifted upwards, and in my fringe vision I saw a face rise up out of the ocean of red. I felt praises, and some more red encompassed me in a goliath giant squeeze. Just when a whistle blew twice out yonder did I understand that we won… we won! I rode the wave of red to my red mentor, and my colleagues set me down and I felt my face turn hot and red with satisfaction – I did it! I had scored for my group… my nation… and my drowsy self-smiled comprehensively at the thought.

Order Winner and Qualifiers

...“Order winner and order qualifier are criteria defined by managers within their operation strategy plan to gain competitive advantage in the market”(Encyclopedia of Business, 2nd Ed.) Order Winners and qualifiers are used to measure and to assure managers in relation to the products or services that they provide. Order winners are issues that directly and significantly help products win orders in the marketplace. People buying the product or service regard such factors as key reasons for buying or using the product or service. An Order qualifier is the characteristic of a companies product or service which are set in order for a customer to consider the product or service for either purchase or use. The Order winner is what we would consider as the winning factor, giving that extra factor to win the customer or service over that of other competitors. Companies must provide qualifiers to enter the given market and become equally as good as the competitors in order to keep sales and service levels before being able to enter with a winner in order to be that one step above another competitor. “The success of a company depends greatly on Order-winner factor“ (Slack, Lewis 2008). It is one of the most important issues that pushes and persuades people to take or use a product or service from a company. The order winner issue tends to be at the top of the list for companies and the managers that make these strategic plans, because it seems to benefits the given company...

...y z zinc WHY WINNERS WIN INTRO 2. Who are these winners? Are indls born winners? No winners are not born they are made. Recent researches on the winners conducted by Stanford institute concluded that only 12% of our success depends on knowledge and technical skills and 88% on positive attitude, enthusiasm, persistence and determination 3. Why do winners only win? What is that quality that separates a winner from a loser? Can everybody win? This brings me to various types of people. There are four kinds of people in this world. They are:- (a) Who watch things happen. (b) Who simply wonder what has happened. (c ) Who criticize what has happened. (d) Who makes things happen. 4. Winners are the people who make things happen. They have strong desire to achieve and they achieve what they desired. Someone said that all men are created equal, but it is what they do afterwards that makes the difference. Winners believe that every cloud has a silver lining. Some thing good can come out from every situation 5. I will tell you a story of a rich man who wanted to asses his two sons. Definition Essay: What Makes A True Winner?

...In the very highly competitive world that we live in today there are two different types of people, the winners and the losers. Webster’s dictionary defines a winner as someone or something or wins a prize or a contest. To some extent I think that’s true, but in my opinion a true winner is a person who never loses but only gets beat from time to time. Eventually, winning becomes almost second nature to someone who is a true winner. It becomes all they know how to do, but a true winner never loses. I know if you’re reading this you’re probably thinking that there is no possible way that if a person competes that he will never lose, but it is possible. You see a true winner is someone who might get beat from time to time, but he never loses....

With each round, the garter's height is made higher than the previous round (the game starts with the garter at ankle-level, followed by knee-level, until the garter is positioned above the head). Hardwood To The Diamond Research Paper

...athletes who take part in basketball and baseball complete different tasks, their ultimate goal remains the same: victory. The playing surfaces for both sports require constant maintenance. A baseball field requires much more (care or caring) than the basketball court, such as watering, mowing, and raking weekly, if not daily, depending on the use of the field. A basketball playing surface only needs waxed or resurfaced once a year and washed biweekly. Although baseball diamonds require far more work, the hardwood of a basketball tends to be more complex with the different lines from various sports running throughout the court. Much larger than a basketball court, the baseball field is typically located outside. Despite the differences, the games and practices take place on their own playing surfaces. They also contain a scoreboard located in a clearly visible...

Ravi in Games at Twilight

...are Ravi in Games at Twilight.  You have just come out of the shed after hiding for hours and no one has noticed that you have been gone.  Write your thoughts. “Where is everybody? Did I win the game?” I thought to myself. I had been hiding in this dark shed for hours but no one found me. I heard Raghu shouting, “I heard you! I’m coming! Got you.” Raghu found the others long before, and I thought I was the winner of this game, but no one remembered me. It is so dark in here, insects crawling all over me, I dare not to move, afraid Raghu will find me, but he never came, no one did. At first I was glad that he did not find me, meaning I won the game. I want to be respected by them and no longer a nobody. When I hid at the shed, it is such a dark and depressing place. I really want to win; I want to be acknowledged by them. But it feels like there was a gap separating me with my siblings, one that would hardly be separated. When I tell them that I won the game, they did not remember me, it took them a minute to grasp what I am saying and even who was I. They say I was a fool of myself as though I did not have feelings and was a laughingstock. It felt like my heart was ripped apart. Sometimes I felt like I was a toy, when it’s still new and they like it, they play with it. But when time goes by, they get tired of it; they just throw it away like a piece of unwanted paper. I want to defeat Raghu – that hirsute, hoarse-voiced football champion and to be a winner in a circle...

...for us. We started the week 3-0 playing at home and we were about to start conference playing two strong sides: Campbell (regular season champions) and Mercer (runner-up in the last conference tournament). We knew the importance of the games and the whole team was pretty focused. It was a week for really hard work targeting those two games. Thursday was game day and we were all excited to start conference (our main goal this season). It was a rainy day and the game started out really intense with both teams going forward and trying to create chances. We had the most part of possession and we were trying really hard to get the first goal. And it came on the 30th minute, with a free kick. After that we took control over the game and created a lot of chances. The game was over and the first task was accomplished with a great win 4-0. But we did not have time to celebrate because Mercer was right ahead of us. Mercer was a lot different from Campbell. They were really physical and had a really defensive mentality. The game was really though and took a huge effort from every single one of us. But in the end we came out in the winner side with another good performance! 2-1 final result.. It was a good start and we closed the series of 5 home games with 5 wins. Although everyone is very excited and happy with the results, the coach staff and the players know that it is just the beginning and if we want to accomplish our main goal, we need to keep working. Next weekend we are off to...

Soon everyone was taking a turn being a thrower and a hitter. People had started to gather and watch this game develop, and they enjoyed what they saw. They broke up into teams of nine or ten people each and would play each other. Photo Paper

...The journey baseball players take on from the beginning of their careers to the end are full of success and strife. Baseball is a game of failure, but the failure is what fuels our desire for success. I’ve been playing baseball since I was eight years old and has pretty much been the main focus of my life. As I grew up, the game has taught me many life lessons that go beyond the baseball diamond. After high school, I received a scholarship to play for Kankakee Community College near my home of town of Chicago, Illinois. The picture was takin last year by one of my teammates shows me preparing to play in a Regional Championship with the winner advancing to the College World Series. The photo represents various different aspects of my playing career and how the journey has helped me become a better man. Throughout my baseball career I have faced a lot of adversity. I started my career at age eight playing for Jackie Robinson West Little League in inner city Chicago. My father also played in the league when it first was established. He also played college baseball, so he mentored and taught me the foundations of the game. After my little league career I began playing for a travel team. Traveling around the country, I was able to meet players from around the country and learn their stories. I enjoyed hearing them because it was cool to talk to someone with the same goals as you. As I entered my high school years, I entered a very intense part of my career which was finding a college...
