Fall semester for every freshman is often terrifying. I walked into English class with my hands shaking, cheeks flushed, and nervous anticipation. My teacher, Mr. Ritchey, had given us a lecture the day before on what he expected out of presentations and I was hoping to exceed his standards. As my classmates presented in my eyes flawlessly, Mr. Ritchey sat at his desk giving his nod of approval. After a few presentations, I heard my name called. My big moment to shine had arrived and I was determined to show Mr. Ritchey what a great student I was. However, I did not quite fill all of my expectations.
