Over 10,000 innocent people have been killed in the bloodiest conflict between drug cartels that the region has ever seen. The conflict started in the middle of February, when a group of about 25 individuals attempted to cross illegally from Guatemala into Mexican territory through the Chilpepeño border crossing. These kinds of acts are widely known and beyond that, they are carried away by professionals in the matter with years of experience and institutions that back them up.
