2. The deficiency and the shortage of power given to the Congress weakened the Federal government.

3. The biggest weakness was that the Congress under the power of the Articles of Confederation could create and pass or accept laws, but could not implement them.
If a state did not agree with the specific federal law, the state could just omit its application.

4. The absence of national courts made harder the process of interpreting and carrying out laws and justice.

5. There was not a president or execute official of authority who ensure that all the laws were applied and carried out in order.
Furthermore, it was very hard to eliminate or change the Articles of Confederation, it needed a uniform and united vote.
