She took time understand the background information of the residents old and new was aware of the emotional needs of them and their family and was able to relate to their emotions they might be going through. She is very objective in the fact that she gets all the facts from both staff and family about the resident, including a mental exam, history, and psychological assessment, but remains subjective to each resident in knowing they all differ in their needs. The social worker is very ware of her job and what needs to be done for the protection of the residents and takes into count their family as well and advocates for the rights of the residents making her very self-aware of values and beliefs and shows them in the work she does. She displays acceptance and patience for her clients by sitting down and listening to them discuss their needs, while taking the time to be patient with them during this process and not rushing them through, even with a large work load.
