I am writing to say how truly exemplary the MCAD is when it comes to providing access to aid and serving individuals with disabilities. From my short time here at the MCAD, I have seen and been taught that here we are dedicated to ensuring a comforting and helpful environment to all people that come to us for help. Recently, I had an interesting experience putting these principles into action when I assisted a deaf individual wishing to file a complaint over the telephone using TTY. TTY utilizes a device that allows those who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have speech impairments communicate over the telephone by typing messages to one another.
