My Strength and Weakness

I believe we all have certain personal strengths and weaknesses. For me, it has been very hard to find out what I am strong or weak on it due to the passive education that I had in Korea. I was educated to study in order to go to better college and then better job. Under these circumstances, it took me for a long time to find out my strength and weakness. Thanks to the MBTI and DISC self-test that I had through this course, “Spiritual Formation”, I could have better idea on my strength and weakness. According to the MBTI result, I am an “ESFJ” typed person. ESFJ typed people are usually warmhearted, conscientious, and corporative. They usually like to work with others to complete tasks accurately and on time. Lastly, they are usually loyal and want to be appreciated for who they are and for what they contribute. I was very surprised to see how accurate it is and of course it gave me a great moment to think about and find out who I am.
I generally consider myself to be a well-organized, warmhearted, hard-working, and a very responsible person. My greatest personal strength that I think I have is a good people skill. I believe I am a good team player and I respect people that I work with. I enjoy speaking and giving ideas to them so that they can count on me to work thinks out. I am also good at learning and teaching things. I believe education equips us with the abilities to succeed in our lives. I like to learn things that develop my skills and make me better person. I also like to teach students so that they can have the ability to have self-esteem and to stay focused in their goals. On the contrary, I have some personal weaknesses. Firstly, I always wanted to be welcomed and appreciated by people that I have a relationship with. Therefore, I easily get hurt by indifference and relationship that I have with peers. This accordingly leads me to another weakness: lack of leadership. I hate to have people get hurt by me so I sometimes hesitate to assert my opinion or argue with someone who interrupts my idea. Lastly, I have a weakness for procrastination. I tend to wait until the last minute to complete things if it is not on a deadline. I am sure I am an organized person, but sometimes this weakness makes me become lazy and forget the important things.
