Katrina was assessed in the home setting with her mother, Mrs. Christina Macasaet, and older brother, Robby, whom was also diagnosed with Autism. Upon the assessor arrival, Katrina was sitting at the table with pillows in front between her and the table and in the back of her to keep remained in the chair. She looked at the assessor formally acknowledging her presence. Once the assessor was seated at the counter, Katrina was observed to walk over to the living room with the respite worker following close behind wear Katrina then sat down on the couch and positioned her body in a stiffened posture allowing her upper body to become slanted while she remained on the couch. In the home there was a walker with wheels. Mrs. Macasaet reported Katrina needs it to help with her balance as a side effect of the Dystonia. Macasaet instructed Katrina to come to the kitchen table. After multiple prompts, Katrina came, but then only wanting to hug her father tightly and would not let go causing Mr. Macasaet to slightly loose his balance. When the assessor conducted the Functional Analysis (FA), Katrina would not sit only stand up next to the kitchen table. Katrina would not follow any of the demands until assessor brought a reinforcer (Barney). During the demand condition of the FA, Katrina was observed to engage in loud laughing and kept looking around the room for her father. Katrina appeared to be happy to engage with the assessor and was able to sit down properly on the chair in 10-second increments by watching micro amounts of Barney videos and giving high-fives. Towards the end of the second assessment, assessor had Mr. Macasaet instruct Kartina to say “IPad please” before giving her the IPad. He was unable to hold out the reinforcer and accepted any words Katrina said, although she knew how to say both words and has said them in the
