7-Ups of life 人生七喜
不知你是否喜欢我这篇人生七喜演讲?

Good morning, Boys and girls!

Does anybody like this drink(高举7-Ups的气水罐)? Well, this is my favorite drink. But today I am not going to talk about my favorite drink. I would like to talk about 7-ups of life. You may wonder what that is. Ok, please sit back and listen.
The 7-Ups of life.
1. Wake up!
I would say” Today is a new day. Let’s rejoice and be happy!”
So I am going to stop to smell a flower. I’m going to stop to look up at the blue sky and the white fluffy clouds. I’m going to stop to listen to the raindrops against my windows.
2. Dress up!
The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks. A little smile can make such a big difference in one’s life. I would smile to the people I know and I would smile to the people I don’t know. The world is so beautiful with smiles all around.
3. Shut up!
Today I will shut up! I will say nice things and learn to listen. “ Hi!” “ How are you?” “Can I help you?” I am going to tell my mom and dad how much I love them
Today is the tomorrow I set goals for yesterday.
4.Stand up!
Everybody should stand for something or you will fall for anything. I will stand firm on my ground and do what I think is right. I would never bow to the evil.
5. Look up!
I will look up at the sky. I would look up at the universe. I gain strength. I gain guidance.
6. Reach Up !!
I will like to stand higher and see farther and reach something higher.
7. Lift Up !!
I will say a little Prayer today. I pray for the world peace. I pray for the happiness of my loved ones. I pray for a peace of mind.
Boys and girls, these are the seven ups of my life. I hope you could sit back and think about the 7-ups for your life .
Wish you all the best!
Bye!

FUTURE IS NOW
What is future?Every time I look at the stars in the sky,I ask myself。It's realy a hard question to answer it。The universe is boundless,we don't know where are we from and where shall we go。I stand there,at sea。

Last Sunday, there was a rain of meteors。I went to the belcony towait for their coming。Above my shoulder,it was the wind。Above the wind,it was the sky, huge and blue, with sparkling stars。Suddenly,a shooting star appeared。I hurried to pray for her happiness, staring at it。I wanted to pray for more, but it had already died out。I realised ,future is not carved on the meteors, but it's now, around us。

When a fortune-teller look at your palm, she'll tell you how your future will be like。That's a way you place your ho华考范文网he path among the trees, you'll never swim in the lake or climb the mountains。

Time is gold。Every minute is precious。We should make best use of it。Don't waste even one minute。Spend time in working,in laughing,in playing games and in loving。

Each of us has a kite flying in the sky,and we also have a string each。
Children's kite is childhood,the string is grown。
Lovers' kite is love, the string is daily life。
I have a kite,it is called dream, the string in my hands is reality。
The wind which makes kites fly is future。Kites are not free, but we still have power to control them and let them fly higher and higher。The string is in my hands, future is now in my hands。

Future is now, forget the fortune-teller,clench your fists!

A Young Idler,An Old Beggar Almost everyone knows the famous Chinese saying:A young idler,an old beggar. Throughout history,we have seen many cases in which this saying has again and again proved to be true.

It goes without saying that the youth is the best time of life, during which one's mental and physical states are at their peaks. It takes relatively less time and pains to learn or accept new things in a world full of changes and rapid developments. In addition, one is less likely to be under great pressure from career, family and health problems when young. Therefore,a fresh mind plus enormous energy will ensure success in different aspects of life.

Of course,we all know:no pains,no gains. If we don't make every effort to make good use of the advantages youth brings us,it is impossible to achieve any goals. As students,we should now try our best to learn all the subjects well so that we can be well prepared for the challenges that we will face in the future.

My Dad Dream

...daily October 14, 2009 JOURNAL ENTRY I came from the big family, and my dad always hoped that we all can graduate university. We came to United State in five different times. Fortunately, we had united in 1985 with my parent and eight brothers and sisters. In the mean time, we all lived together except my other two sisters who already got married. My dad had to work two jobs in order to support the whole family. I just liked a handicap person without speaking English, driving vehicle. As my dad’s dream, I also loved to go to college after graduated from high school. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a good job to help my dad with financial. I could see furrows on his forehead, wrinkles on his face after a few months my family reunion. I felt selfishly to go to school with his supporting. I decided to work hard instead of going to school; because I thought that the only way to share his responsibilities. The time went by, I got married, moved out, and had my own obligations. I had two children, and divorced when my youngest daughter turned six year olds. I still didn’t help him at all when I was raising the children on my own. I step on his foot to work two jobs to support my kids. I was so regretted to make the bad decision. I still burst into tears every time I talked to my children about this. My Dream

...My first job had a huge influence on my future career. I was very grateful to have a very good boss at that time. His name was James, and he was more than forty years old. He was an American overseas Chinese. Before he set up a culture company for which I worked, he was the CEO of an electric appliance company. He always treated people very friendly with a big smile, and he was concerned about the health and mood of his employees. The sense of accomplishment which I got from my first job is really unforgettable. Under James’ leadership, I felt valuable to the company. He asked us to do the work with a clear purpose, and gave us up to date information in the regular meetings. When you were recognized in a company-wide meeting, a sense of pride was indescribable. The company had just set up recently, and our business was overseas cultural exchange. Most of us were engaged in a new field, even our boss. Our work was certainly imperfect, because we were in the exploratory stage. However, our boss never blamed our work; he just said to keep it up. The boss gave out wages personally every monthly. As a result of the small-scale, the boss would take one day at the end of the month for a face-to face interview with everyone. Mostly, he encouraged us and talked about promotion initiatives. There was also a very intimate habit, that each time he would send everyone a specialty gift from his hometown after we finished the conversation. The most motivation for us was the effect our......

My Dream

...very soundly at night. My sleep is generally undisturbed by dreams but one night, I had a pleasant dream. I dreamt that I had won Rs. 1 crore in a derby lottery. My joy knew no bounds. My parents, too, felt overjoyed. I received numerous telegrams of congratulation from my friends and relatives. For a time, I felt elated. I was mad with joy. I could not decide how to spend the huge amount. I thought over the matter and hit upon a solution. I decided to have a decent bungalow far removed from the din and noise of the city, surrounded by a garden, with rarest flowers and trees in it. This would cost me Rs. 30 lakhs. I would live there comfortably, in the lap of nature and nearer God. I decided to spend Rs. Ten lakhs on a beautiful Rolls Royce, one of the best cars. I would drive it myself. Every morning I would take my parents and family for a long drive along the mall and the canal. This would add to my status and position in society. I would invest Rs. Twenty lakhs, on the establishment of a steel rolling mill. This would provide employment for about 40 souls and give me a monthly income of Rs. 50,000. This would ensure me a comfortable living. I would gradually become a mill-owner. I would donate Rs. 15,000 to the Punjab University as an endowment fund out of which a scholarship of Rs. 25 per mensem would be awarded to a student irrespective of caste or creed, who would stand first in the matric examination, from amongst the candidates of my village. My Dream Home

...1101/48 10 September 2012 My Dream Home My dream home that I design will be all that I imagine and more. It will be a three bedroom, Ranch-styled, brick home with a three car garage and a massive double front door. Some of the interior features will include a chef’s kitchen and spa-like on-suites. Outdoors will consist of meandering pathways through colorful shade gardens that lead up to a flagstone terrace that overlooks the in-ground swimming pool. The ultimate chef’s kitchen in my home will have cool black granite countertops lining the walls, breakfast bar, and island. A double-oven and pasta sink is a must for an Italian inspired kitchen. An oversized copper sink with the apron showing would be housed around the breakfast bar for easy access. The warm glow from the pendant lighting surrounding the kitchen with rich copper undertones sets the perfect mood lighting as I cook delicious creations with sinful aromas. Afterwards, I can wash my cares away by visiting one of the spa-like on-suites just off of any one of the bedrooms. Each one includes a walk-in shower with stunning rainfall showerheads and travertine tiles. If I prefer a soak, I can slide into a warm bubble bath in one of the copper claw-foot tubs situated by a picture window overlooking the many gardens. Once my senses have been renewed, I can wander outdoors to peaceful surroundings. ......

My Dream Car

...My Dream Car My dream car is made by Ferrari. Ferrari has always been a symbol of speed and prestige as well as elegance. It has even been described as a ‘passion on wheels’. Owning a Ferrari means that you have arrived in style. Only the very rich can even dream of owning a Ferrari. The Ferrari motorcar company is the brainchild of Enzo Ferrari, an Italian who started his career as a small carmaker. The 125 Sport was the first ever Ferrari motorcar. Enzo Ferrari did not intend to build road cars, when he formed the Scuderia Ferrari in 1929. After World War I, Ferrari became a driver on the Alfa-Romeo team. Following a victory at Ravenna, the family of Francesco Baracca, presented him with a small charred plaque. Baracca had died in combat and the plaque was one of the parts of the Ferrari emblem. The Ferrari emblem with a yellow shield with a black horse in the middle is recognized across the world of automobile fanatics. This prancing horse became the symbol of Ferrari and it appeared on all the cars he drove. Ferrari automobiles have been featured in many films and television shows. The Ferrari 250 was in the 1986 movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off driven by Matthew Broderick, the Ferrari 512 driven by Steven McQueen was in the 1971 film Le Mans, the Ferrari Mondial was in 1985 movie Weird Science driven by John Hughes, the Ferrari Daytona appeared in the Miami Vice television shows, driven by Don Johnson, and a replica of the Ferrari F430 was used in the Pixar movie Cars...

My Life Long Dream

...My Life Long Dream is to be a Teacher English Composition I My Life Long Dream is to be a Teacher I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a Junior in high school. During that year, I got to help at our elementary school for one of my class electives. I was assigned to one of the first grade classes. I remember talking to the teacher I was helping. I asked her how she liked teaching and what it took to be a teacher. Her first question to me was how did I like working with children. I told her I loved it and wished I could help her all year long. She told me that if I really liked working with children, I should go to college and get my teaching degree. Although everyone measures success in his or her career differently, I believe by becoming a teacher I will be successful. After I graduated from high school, I did not have plans of attending college right away. I decided to take a job as a teaching aide. I was assigned to help with the pre-first grade class. That first year helping was very educational. I helped the children in class learn how to write their ABC’s and showed them how to write their numbers. I learned so much by working with these children I was finally ready to go to college to get my degree. I attended Aims Community College in Greeley, Colorado to get my electives out of the way and then planned on transferring to the University of Northern Colorado, also in Greeley, for the last two years. I often thought......

My American Dream

...My American dream The city, that never sleeps. A phrase often used about this city. When I first heard about New York I didn’t really understand what people meant when they used this phrase but after a couple of years living here I believe I have finally got the point. In some ways I think I even get the point better than most people around here. Sure there’s a lot of New York citizens who has been living here their whole lives and not just for the past four years as I have. They probably have a greater felling of being a part of the city than I have but on the other hand they don’t know how it is to live outside of New York. Before I came to America I lived in a small village, which was located somewhere out in the Mexican desert. First of all the weather in the desert was very warm and dry. When the temperature reached its maximum the city could almost be classified as dead. All the stores were closed, no people on the street and then the silence. No noise or sound at all. It could be like this for hours. And when people in town finally came back to life again they didn’t seem nearly as alive and fresh as the citizens of New York. The gang wars, which had been going on in my country for decades, eventually also influenced my village even though we lived very isolated out there in the desert. We weren’t exposed to a lot of war and killings but you could still see the negative consequences the war had on people. The atmosphere and mood in the village had become different......

My Dreams

...GROWTH PLAN A convenient starting point for a discourse of this nature would, expectedly, be to provide a brief sketch of my background. My formative years of knowledge- acquisition were spent at various educational institutions in Nigeria. Specifically, between the year 2004 and 2008, I was at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State for degree program leading to the award of Bachelor of Science in Geography. My inquisitive and adventure loving nature steered me easily to the sciences. I chose to study Geography because the earth in itself provides an immeasurable source of instantaneously occurring mysteries. I then went ahead to start my career in sales at a reputable Telecommunications company in Nigeria. After four years mastering the art of sales I decided a career change or at the least career advancement was needed to succeed in this competitive world, hence my decision to pursue a Masters in Business Administration to hone my analytical skills. There are various principles that shape my vision, goals, path and my life’s journey. Amongst the factors that drive me is a passion for excellence, excellence in everything I set out to do however minute the task is. The need to be a pacesetter, a trail blazer, someone that questions the status quo is inherently ingrained in me. Also, having an acute dislike for mediocrity is another factor that has an impact on my outlook to life, mediocrity is defined as the quality of being average or ordinary, why be ordinary when I can be......

My Dream

...When I was a kid, I’ve always appreciated the wonders of science and how it greatly contributes to our society in different aspects. At first, I wanted to be a Dentist like my parents because I saw how great it was to be one however, due to my young mind, it changed throughout time. When I was in Elementary, I wanted to be a Pediatrician because I loved kids back then. However, my affection towards kids vanished and it made me confused on which profession to choose. Now that I’m mature enough to make decisions for myself, I managed to come up with the decision of being a Neurologist. Being a Neurologist might be a difficult job but the reason why I chose it is because studying and treating neurological disorders has always fascinated me. The idea of helping people with neurological disorders has always been the reason on why I want to be a Neurologist. Not the salary, not the benefits that I could get but the idea of helping is what’s keeping me going. Based on observation and research, Neurologist are licensed physicians who specialize in nervous system disorders. They are highly trained physicians who are trained to treat disorders, diseases and impairment to the spinal cord, autonomic nervous system, peripheral nerves, muscles and blood vessels. My Thoughts, My Dreams

...My thoughts, my dreams On the surface I think I am like most young and modern women: I take studying very seriously, I have dreams and goals for the future that I am determined to make it happen, and I do not expect anyone to do the hard work for me. My roots are from an average family, my father is a carpenter and my mother is a tailor. Even though we are not a well to do family, I still feel that I am very lucky to have a supportive family behind me. What makes me different from everyone my age, is how I choose to fill my time away from school. Since I know that we need to exert extra effort to be able to help ourselves buy our school stuff or pay our tuition fees, I have sought a job during summer that would teach me new skills and give me a sense of fulfillment. I turned out to be a tutor to the young kids in the community. In this way, I am not only helping myself and my family, but the kids and their family as well. The kids tend to spend more time studying, learn new ideas, useful tips and increase their knowledge instead of concentrating into unproductive things. Parents are confident that I am looking after their kids and that kids will have additional knowledge apart from the normal academic teachings. Naturally, kids love playing particularly, it is summer time and therefore, I have thought of mixing theories with fun and exciting games that offer invaluable life lessons, which includes being a good friend, team member, compassion for others and how...

Dreams of My Father

...108 C.Shane Dreams of My Father Before (pre reading) When I saw this book on our list of reads for our class I was excited about Dreams of My Father because I was interested in learning more about our president. Barack Obama will forever be known as our first African American president that I had the privilege of being around to be a part of. Looking at the cover my first thought was about the kids in the photos, I believed they were himself and his sister with his grandparents. The cover also lets me know that no matter who you are, what the color of your skin is, anyone will relate in some way because of the little words that read “this book will tell you something about yourself whether you are black or white”. Background Knowledge 1. “Barry? Barry is this you?” “Yes…Who’s this?” “Yes, Barry… this is your Aunt Jane. In Nairobi. Can you hear me?” “Aunt Jane. Listen, Barry your father is dead. He was killed in a car accident”. The worst phone call I ever received came 3 years ago when I was standing in line at 6 flags to ride a roller coaster and my uncle called me, I answered the phone to him crying telling me that my father has died. Pg. 5 2nd paragraph. 2. Pg. 6&7 “we call my grandmother Tutu, toot for short, it means “grandparent” in Hawaiian”. At home my daughter and step daughter call their grandmother “Mama” instead of Abuela or grandma. 3. Pg.129 “Barack. I always wanted to tell you how much I love you”.
